Why you’ll love it:
Perfect for plant lovers, housewarmings, or anyone looking to bring more growing energy into their home.

Kokedama are Japanese moss balls—plants grown without pots, wrapped in soil and moss for a natural, sculptural display.

Submerge the kokedama ball completely in water for 5-7 minutes. Do this process once a week and put it back in its decorative bowl. You will know your kokedama ball needs to be rewrapped when the roots grow out of the bottom of the ball. This process can take anywhere from a couple of months to a year, depending on how quickly the kokedama grows. The kokedama ball requires indirect lighting.

The supplies are sphagnum moss, sheet moss, soil, perlite, orchid bark, twine, and a slow release fertilizer. This is then molded and shaped to wrap the roots of the plant. In the process of making the kokedama ball we also pour in our love and intentions.
